Lake Life

It is just incredibly peaceful up here by the lake and I have been doing a lot of yoga in the sun room and even out on the deck.  This morning I had a cup of coffee while watching a family of deer grazing in the yard.  Lovely. I wonder if I remembered to tell Röbert that his extended family was coming for a Christmas lunch today?  Maybe not.  I am sure he is having a wonderful time with the children and Grandmama will probably want to pitch in and help him pull together a meal for 33 when he explains that I am taking a lil’ break.

Now I am relaxing with some hot tea in front of a roaring fire. Maybe I will get up in an hour and read some literature or watch more Hallmark Channel.

The holidays are such a peaceful, joyful time, aren’t they?

I’m so glad that you are taking some time for yourself! And what an amazingly good wife you are to not be selfish during the holidays. A lesser woman would have demanded that she spend time with her family this time of year but you selflessly gave Robert the quantity time!
And thank you for the gorgeous Christmas card! I placed it on my mantel so that that bitch Brenda would see it and she’s be jealous that I got a Christmas card from a very well known blogger.

January is the best month for cleansing and regrouping. I think you should tell Robbi you’ll return in February after a nice January cleanse. You can’t be a good parent if you’re not taking care of YOU YOU YOU!!! And really, all children want in this world is for their parents to focus on themselves.
