Go Ladies!

Sometimes Cari is a true genius, so it is no wonder we are such good friends.  She does this thing with her ex-mother-in-law where she won’t let her see Amber for weeks and weeks and then, when the  MIL is absolutely desperate to see her granddaughter, Cari gets her to babysit whenever she wants her to.  Last night she had her watch Amber and all three of my kids while Röbert was out of town and “James” was visiting with his own (grown) children at the family compound.

Cari and I decided that after we split a small side salad at the new bistro in town, we should head over to the local sports bar, just for fun.  We were surprised how crowded it was on a Monday night.  And even more surprising was that every screen in the bar was tuned to a lady’s soccer game.  Did you even know that girls played television sports?  Except for tennis or figure skating, I have never heard of such a thing. Should Starling play sports games?  I don’t know.  I am worried about her getting weird muscles.  Anyway, these girls were still mostly quite attractive, so I guess it is okay to play soccer for ladies.

Go American Soccer Lady Team!  Win the tournament!

It is really quite thrilling to get involved in the cheering, even when you aren't sure what is going on.

Be careful Lah Lee, some sports can make girls a lil bit butch – even tennis! Pretty girls need to treat sport a Lil differently, aim for Kournikova level, so they can get the endorsements and fame without the gross body.

Is that Ty in the photo? What on earth is he doing at a sports bar? Weird.

Yes, I do worry about sports making Starling less attractive. I thought horseback riding would be fine, but some of the girls at the stables, yeesh. They don’t even wear the tiniest bit of lip gloss or mascara.

I think a rubber or two of bridge should be the most physically active a girl gets. Maybe pilates so she stays long & lean instead of squat and bulky like those Williams tennis players.

Well, horse riding is very classy. Everyone in my horsey clique are very elite and upper class, so appearances are always on point.
As you’ve found out, the middle class do things very differently, lol!
I’ve heard that they even have to groom and interact with the horses after their cute photos. Yuck!
Honestly, gymnastics is the way to go with Starling. Obviously she would need implants at 18, but its a small price to pay for a perfect body.

Oh, no, Rõbert is out of town? Is he traveling for work again? Being a single mom can be hard, even if it’s just for a few days. Cari is a great friend for getting you out of the house and making you have some fun. What a coincidence that Ty was there! It’s so crazy how you two seem to run into each other all the time! You and Cari must have enjoyed hanging out with him. I hope he was a gentleman and bought you ladies some drinks. 🙂

Yes, Röbert is traveling for work, although I think he might be mountain hiking for a couple of hours after work on the last day.

Cari and I never even saw that Ty was there until someone pointed it out in my photo. LOL!

Some of these games are taking place in the city in which I live, and I was shocked to find out they set up a large “fan zone” down the street from me, as if lady sports has any fans.
