Hoppy Easter

Since Merlin is being grounded for creating a very rude egg this year, I have to stay home from church so he is not alone in the house.  He claims that Starling had them both write something in white crayon on their eggs and then trade them to see the secret message, but I think we all know who would use that kind of vulgar language in our house, and it is not my lil’ girl.  Starling’s egg said, “I love Mommy”.  What a sweet thing she is!

Speechless.

Speechless.

I will also be missing the fun of watching all of the overtired lil’ children having their egg hunt on the lawn behind the church, but I had Röbert take Starling and Hummus.  He has been in an awful mood all weekend, so I am sure the time in church will do him good.

Merlin is all dressed up and cleaning his bedroom.  My parents are coming over later for my home-cooked Easter Dinner.  I have a Honey Baked Ham and a couple of rotisserie chickens along with some mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and roasted veggies from the prepared food section at our gourmet shop.  I swear, getting ready for these big meals is exhausting.  Next year we will just hire a caterer.

After he cleans his bedroom he will be setting the table for me. I hope he remembered to polish the silver and iron the linens.

So to all of my sweat friends, Happy Easter, whether you be Christian, Jewish or Muslim.  Happy Easter even if you are a Scientologist or Catholic.

Is it pinot-o-clock yet?

Is it pinot-o-clock yet?

the holidays are exhausting, supervising the maid doing the cleaning and the catering crew putting out the food, so difficult

It’s always Pinot-O-Clock somewhere in the world.!!!! Next year have your parents host Easter dinner. Sadly, alas, you have your hands full with the kids, how can one expect for you to home cook a dinner also? Sheess. Did Karen stick her ugly cry face in for a drink today?

Karen was not invited, I assure you. While Röbert had Starling and Hummus at the egg hunt and Merlin was setting the table and cleaning up the living room, I went outside to look for a soccer ball that we had lost. I was looking under some bushes behind the Sullivan’s house and I overheard some fighting going on inside. Boy, Mitch sure sounded angry and Karen was just boohooing away. Happy Easter, bitch.

I’m glad you kept Merlin home because of his behavior. Wherever did he pick up such language? Certainly not from your house! I bet he heard it from Karen. She deserves to be so unhappy.
        Happy Easter, bitch, indeed!

I agree. Karen deserves to pay and suffer for her betrayal for a long time. What makes it even worse is that she did it to a close friend who has done so much for her. At her age, she really should know better, but I guess wisdom doesn’t come with age after all. You spent so much time with her, gave so much and that’s how she thanks you? UNbeLIEvable! Without your friendship she’d be nothing but the frumpy wife of an elderly guy with money who none of the hip young attractive would look at twice. No, she deserves everything that’s coming to her, that vicious two-faced sad excuse for a woman and breaker of the hoe-code. Fudge her!

I have done even more for her than anyone knows. For instance, I once received a sample packet of wrinkle cream in the mail and I gave it to Karen.

I used to feel bad for her being married to Mitch because he is definitely not a looker, but now I feel bad for him. I mean she was betraying both of us when she put that photo in Röbert’s bag.

I hope you had a great Easter even if lil Merlin tried to ruin with his potty mouth. I am sure he does not use that word in his debates. I must have missed something though..what did Karen do to you? Why is she so upset? What is going on? I thought you were on good terms again? Easter is a time of re-birth so maybe you should go over and check on her and see what is going on? Anyway, I am off to my Easter Monday spin class. Too much chocolate and wine yesterday.

Oh, PSL, you need to reread my blog. Karen, in a pathetic attempt to seduce my handsome husband, put a picture of herself in his luggage. She is a snake. I don’t know why she is crying all of the time lately. She must have cut herself or something.

Oh silly me. I did see that post (about he photo in the luggage) but I did not think it was a big deal. Obviously, Röbert would not even give her a second glance. I did not realize you were concerned. She is not a threat to you my dear!

P.S. I never miss a post. I look in a few times a day between shopping, exercising and happy hour (the witching hour).

Of course I am not worried about Röbert. But I don’t want to be around someone who would try to destroy my marriage, even if she did it in a delusional way.
