Making a Home

I love my family.  Röbert and I are the absolute best of friends and I am so devoted to my three lil’ angles.

Sometimes taking care of a family means making sacrifices.  Today, for instance, I had an opportunity to co-lead a Cardio Sweat class at my gym.  This would have meant the world to me, because I have worked long and hard to memorize all of the moves for this class.  And, standing in the front of the room, I would have been able to see everyone and really take notes when they messed up the choreography.  LOL.  But it was not meant to be.  I called everyone I knew, and no one could meet Merlin and Starling at the bus.

It would have been fun, but this time I had to say no and head home and make a nice dinner for my family instead.  Being a Mom doesn’t give you a lot of glory, but there are rewards in hard work and love.

Frito Pie is almost ready! And then off to bed early for my littles, so I can catch up on my Netflix.

    Such a great mama.
I love coming to your blog to remind me of the important things in life – such as matching your outfits to your surroundings.

This. Lah Lee, this degree of self-sacrifice and martyrdom is really unhealthy. You need to do some self-care, girl!

Honey, you can’t just drop a mention of something like Frito Pie and not include a recipe! And 25-50 pictures of the Frito pie-making process! Let’s see it! Remember, love isn’t real unless it can be put onto the internet!

You sure do redecorate a lot or you live in a mansion with multiple kitchens, LOL! Your kitchen always looks a little different. Hope you’ve had a restful evening. You always give, give, give to your family.
