Black Friday

It is so much more convenient now that stores are open on Thanksgiving to do my Black Friday shopping.  It is always fun to get together with all of my gal pals but I prefer not to get out of bed too early.

As soon as dinner was done at the Sullivan’s house I had to get going to be at the mall by 6 PM.  I am sure Karen didn’t mind doing the dishes alone, she is a born hostess.

You will never guess who I saw at the mall!  Ty, Merlin’s genius teacher, was there with a group of people protesting something or another.  Maybe he was saying that people shouldn’t work on a holiday but if they don’t work, how am I supposed to get all of these bargains?  LOL!  I offered to get him something but he said that he wouldn’t spend ANY money this weekend for solidarity or something.  That is so crazy.  Going to the mall and not spending any money?

Ty was protesting shopping or something. Does not compute!

There was really nothing I needed this year, but it is just so much fun to shop and save all sorts money.  I saved literally hundreds of dollars and I have three machines that make soda out of water and mix you buy from the soda machine company.  It tastes exactly like soda!  So cool.

This is just a small portion of what I bought!

I hope everyone enjoys this most spiritual time of the year as much as I do.

I don’t know why these stores close down. It seems obvious that everyone wants to shop on Thanksgiving. If the employees are so all fired eager not to work, then they should just find a different job.

Exactly there are plenty of people who would be happy to make $5 an hour or whatever they get paid for folding clothes and talking to each other all day and ignoring customers

Well it was almost all for myself, with a few things for Starling thrown in as well. I did get such a great bargain on the soda maker and the summer sausage that I bought a few and will give them as gifts.

Here’s a pro tip from a fabulous lifestyle blog which I follow. If you want less sugar in your soda, adjust the proportions so that your using more water and less syrup. Genius! So simple and yet I bet alot of people wouldn’t of thought of it. You can also do leg lifts while your mixing you’re soda, or tape the soda container to a cement block so that your doing biceps curls while you drink.

No luck on finding bargains for the boys then? Shame! Ah well, plenty of time before Christmas! Glad you managed to get yourself a few little treats. My hubby doesn’t understand about spending money to save money. Men are so silly about money.

Sometimes men can be so silly. I saved a LOT of money on Friday and Röbert keeps acting like it was an expensive day of shopping. Duh! I saved us a lot of money!

I didn’t even think of buying anything for the boys. Girls are so much more fun to shop for.

Too bad boys don’t wear mocs- those freshly picked ones are so cute. Especially if you get them for free! When are you getting your christmas photo taken- cannot wait to see what awesome theme you do!

You’re a hero for supporting the economy! That is so important in this day and age. More people should care about making the world a better place, like you do. While so many people are complaining about the rising cost of living and about having to cut back, it was very brave of you to show up at the mall. I personally do not have any time for complainers; I only surround myself with people who have a positive outlook. If people don’t have enough money they should just work harder, LOL. I personally do not want to live in a world where children don’t have any presents under the Christmas tree.
