Girl’s Day Out!

I kept Starling home from school today so we could have a little girly fun together.  Everyone needs a mental health day from time to time!  While I was drinking my coffee and chit chatting on the phone she made a dinosaur all by herself.  I had bought her a dinosaur kit, to increase her chances of getting in to the gifted class next year (not that I think she would even enjoy running around shooting arrows like a hooligan) and she is so clever!

STEM is so important to my lil' princess.

After she had finished with her creative and educational project we went out for lunch.  I decided we should go to the luncheon restaurant at a very upscale department store in the city since they play classical music and are very high class and that is what Starling loves!

She looks so grown up!

As long as we were there I decided I may as well check out the dresses so I have something for Karen’s soiree tomorrow night.  I found something absolutely perfect in the designer section.  I almost fainted when I saw the price tag because honestly, you could buy a car for the same amount, but that is what credit cards are for!

Röbert shouldn't have been so stingy about the blog conference and ruined table last weekend!

I absolutely can’t wait for Karen’s party tomorrow night.  I just ADORE the Sullivans, but I won’t mind showing off my gorgeous coat dress, in the nicest way possible.
